Ora Privé takes the privacy of our clients seriously. We hope to explain how we collect information from you, why we collect the information, how the information is stored and how the information is used.
Collection
The first set of information we collect is your name and address, this is identifiable information so that we can identify you as you.
We would also want to collect your contact details including your email address and telephone number. We collect this to send you information regarding the treatment you have booked. This information includes a reminder email, a reminder test message, phone calls regarding your treatment if necessary, post treatment homecare & aftercare advice via email regarding your treatment and reminder emails/sms regarding your next treatment.
As a beauty salon, we need to collect certain information from you to enable us to understand you as a client and carry out a safe and successful treatment. This information is known as your medical history. Your medical history is very important to us as we need it to ascertain whether a treatment is safe for you. We also need to know if there are any medical conditions which might interfere with your treatment, or whether the treatment can go ahead at all. Your safety is our priority and without giving us consent to keep a record of your medical conditions a treatment at Ora Privé would not go ahead. These medical records must be kept for 5 years as instructed by our insurance company Insync Insurance.
Storage
The information we collect is in the form of a digital consultation. Every client at Ora Privé is asked to fill out pre & post treatment digital forms which together create your consultation records cards. We store this digitally in our secure online booking system. You may request at any time to see your information we have stored or request to have your information deleted by emailing [email protected].
Use
As well as collecting your identifiable information and your health and medical information, we ask for your birth-date, this is optional and only used with consent to send a birthday message from Ora Privé.
From time to time Ora Privé would like to send an email with information, offers and news. The information we use to send out this information is held securely digitally and is never shared. Emails can be unsubscribed at any time. There is an opt in section on our consultation card which can be changed on request or by client login at any time.
Online Booking System
Our online booking system “Timely” is GDPR compliant – please see their privacy policy for more information.

Please arrive in good time for your treatment, if were unable to perform the treatment due to lateness we will unfortunately need to rearrange the appointment and the cancellation policy will be applied.
Our digital record card is required by our insurance company to be signed by the client. The treatment will not go ahead unless this has been signed and the client has filled in the necessary medical history. We want to keep you safe and provide you with the best treatment possible.
We hold our clients details securely in our booking system and this is not provided to any third parties… ever!
We have a 48 hour cancellation policy. If you need to change, reschedule, or cancel your appointment during this time you will be invoiced 50% of the treatment value.
Our pricing can be changed at any time without warning. Pre-existing appointments will be honoured with the price at time of booking.

We do not carry indemnity forms in the salon and no waiver will be given for any treatment under any circumstances at any time.
