ClinicCare – The Best Cosmeceutical In The World
I introduced ClinicCare as my brand of choice to the salon after years of research and testing products to bring to you the skincare range which I feel harness’s the best of science & nature to deliver consistent results in professional use within the salon and client use at home.
My thought process when choosing the product was simple really, the most important being…
Does it achieve results? Followed by… ingredients. Is it easy to use? Company ethos and finally, price point.
For me, ClinicCare ticked all the boxes. I had many visits from lovely sales reps from established brands vying for my business and it may have been easier to choose a popular skincare line, just like all the other skincare salons. But I’m not like all the other skincare salons, I’m not guided by popularity, I’m not even guided by price, I’m guided by the quality and honesty of the ingredients and the positive effect these will have on my clients.
During the 5 years that I have spent researching skincare brands, I found out that many are owned by the same company, with different packaging to appeal to target markets. Many products will use the latest ingredients buzzword and may only contain a very small amount. Not all ingredients are of the same quality. Most lotions, creams etc will sit on the skin because of the molecular weight and can’t be absorbed.
ClinicCares’ range of professional and home products provide outstanding information on the front of the packaging. ClinicCare states the percentage of active ingredients inside the products, most of these are over 40%, and some are up to 80% ACTIVE ingredients which is huge as then you can be sure that your skincare will be packing a punch! As an example, your of-the-shelf expensive moisturiser might have up to 5% active ingredients (if you’re lucky) and that’s why other companies don’t advertise this.
One of the main ingredients in ClinicCare products is Hyaluronic acid. We have all heard of this friendly acid now and it’s in a lot of skincare products, but not all hyaluronic acids are the same. Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the skin but begins to deplete over time, this leaves skin susceptible to toxins as it protects cell immunity and plays a vital role in metabolic processes. Hyaluronic acid has the ability to retain moisture, up to 10000 times its weight in water which is perfect for reconditioning & repairing the skin.
The problem with conventional hyaluronic acid is the molecule size. This is measured in nanometres. The intercellular space (the space in your skin where the molecules need to penetrate) is around 100 nanometres but conventional hyaluronic acids molecules are 3000 nanometres, too big to be absorbed. ClinicCare uses a patented protected hyaluronic acid with a molecular weight of just 5 nanometres meaning it’s easily absorbed by your skin and provides perfect, long-lasting results. There are only 2 companies in the world with access to this product – a Japanese company and ClinicCare.
A Swedish company entirely vegan with groundbreaking ingredients that are results driven. What’s not to love, right?
